The Zoggs Swim Fin Energy is an advanced training fin designed to develop a stronger, more powerful kick. The fin encourages correct kicking technique whilst building the leg muscles used in swimming. It is suitable for pool training and can be used across all four strokes.

Polypropylene fins are firmer and more rigid than silicone fins. This additional stiffness creates more resistance and load on the legs during training, which can help build kick strength more quickly. Silicone fins are more flexible and provide a more natural kick feel. The choice between the two depends on whether the primary goal is strength development or technique refinement.

A closed pocket fin encases the foot in a fixed foot pocket rather than using an open heel and strap system. The foot slides in from the front and is held securely by the pocket walls. This design provides a more consistent fit during training as there are no straps to loosen or adjust, and the fin cannot slip off during kicking.

Yes. The Swim Fin Energy is designed to improve technique and aid muscle development at all levels. Beginners can benefit from the fin’s resistance during kick sets, while more experienced swimmers use it to build power and strength. The correct technique benefit makes it particularly useful for swimmers who are still developing their kick mechanics.

Rinse in cold fresh water after every session to remove chlorine and debris. Allow to dry naturally away from direct sunlight — prolonged UV exposure can degrade polypropylene over time. Store flat and away from sharp objects. Check the foot pocket periodically for any signs of cracking or wear.
