Stand on a piece of paper with your toe against a wall. Mark the end of your heel at the achilles arch — this is where the fin strap sits. Measure from the wall to your mark in millimetres. This should be approximately 3–5mm less than your full foot length. Use this measurement to find your fin size in the table above. If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size.

If your foot length falls between two sizes, always size up. Fins that are too tight can cause blisters, cramp, and discomfort during training. The silicone material will bed in slightly with use and mould to the shape of your foot over time. Speak to a member of staff at Allens if you are unsure.

Rinse the fins thoroughly in clean fresh water after every use to remove chlorine, salt, and debris. Store flat in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight. Do not fold or crease the blade during storage. Avoid walking on rough surfaces such as pool surrounds or concrete as this can damage the fin blade and silicone material.

DMC fins can be used in both pool and open water environments. However, they are primarily designed for pool training and bodysurfing. Always ensure fins are properly secured before entering open water, and avoid walking on sand or rough surfaces which can accelerate wear on the silicone blade.
