How to Measure

  • The hips are the tightest bottleneck: the hips are the widest and hardest part of the body to pull a highly compressive tech suit over. If the hip size is too small, you risk tearing the expensive fabric or breaking the bonded seams while pulling it up.
  • Compression without restriction: the Speedo Fastskin LZR Pure Intent 2 is engineered with triple fabric construction and bonded ergonomic seams to connect key muscle groups for greater power return. Sizing primarily by the hips ensures the compression panels lock into place correctly without restricting your kick.
  • Core alignment: the internal seams and hip joints of the kneesuit must align perfectly with your greater trochanter (hip bone) to sit properly. If the hips don't align, the upper body and shoulder straps will pull down too hard, restricting shoulder mobility.
