Funkita Womens Apex Size Guide

The Funkita APEX Kneesuit range comprises World Aquatics Approved competition race suits designed to maximise speed and minimise resistance through the water. Developed for competitive swimmers at all levels, the APEX range features mid-to-maximum compression, warp knit and latest fabric technology, water-repellent finishes, and ultrasonic bonding. The range includes four models — the Apex Viper, Apex Viper Secure (with period protection), Apex Predator X, and Apex Oblivion.

All styles share the same size chart based on chest, waist, hip, and body loop measurements. UK sizes 18–34 (AUS 18–34).

APEX kneesuits are sized on four measurements. Racing suits are compression garments — measure directly against the skin for the most accurate fit.

  • Body Loop — the most important measurement. Start at the shoulder, run the tape down the front of the body, through the crotch, and back up to the same shoulder point.
  • Chest — measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
  • Waist — measure around the narrowest part of the waistline, usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips — measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
  • Racing suits feel considerably tighter than training swimwear — this is normal and intentional. Do not size up solely to avoid the compression feel.
